Great Missenden Orchestra
We are an amateur orchestra with members from Great Missenden and the surrounding area who enjoy playing classical music for fun.
We rehearse on Wednesday evenings during school terms from 8pm to 10pm in the Oldham Hall at 71 The Square, Great Missenden HP16 0BA.
We aim to give at least one serious concert each year as well as one or two less formal ones, and we organise an annual orchestral workshop to which we welcome non-members.
Spring Workshop: We will be playing Dvorak's 9th Symphony, 'The New World' at our workshop on Sunday 26th April 2026 at Ballinger Village Hall. 10am for 10.30am start until 5.15pm. Scroll down to download the booking form.
The orchestra has spaces for string players - if you play violin, viola, cello or double bass, get in touch via the website or come along on Wednesday and try us out!
