Your friendly local orchestra
For over 35 years we have prepared concerts and enjoyed orchestral workshops in Great Missenden, and wider Buckinghamshire. Our repertoire is mainly well-known classical and chamber music with a mix of lesser-known works.
We play for fun all year, meeting on Wednesdays in term time at the Oldham Hall in Great Missenden.
Rehearsals are from 8-10pm with a break and free refreshments.
We hold regular concerts and an annual workshop to try out larger more complex orchestral works.
We currently have spaces for string players - if you play violin, viola, cello or double bass, come along on Wednesday and try us out!
You will need a good standard of sight-reading and intonation to enjoy playing with us.
